though it's not really a "before" because none of that stuff was ours...this was before we moved in
and it's not really an "after" because I can count about 27 things I've moved, changed, hung up, installed or bought (like a piano and a giant coffee table) since I took these photos a month ago and it doesn't include the projects waiting to happen (like installing cupboards in the horrible laundry room, finish painting various rooms and a kitchen tile backsplash)
and I didn't even photograph some halls, the bathrooms or the basement because they're about the same in all of their seventies glory

So super cute! I love your eye and how creative you are. Seriously love it. Miss you...
ReplyDeleteWow, looks great!!! You should come over to our house and do some remodeling.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful. You've really made the home your own and given it your signature touch.
ReplyDeleteWow! You guys have sure been busy! Love each one of the new rooms. So much better by far. I am curious to know where you put the piano though, and if you like it, and what color it is, and how it sounds...... :)
ReplyDeleteI love all of your creativeness...love it and would love to pick your brain- in a non scary kinda way ;) So my question is 1. what is hanging on the door in your hall closet? and 2. What/ How did you paint your kitchen chairs....I have those exact chairs and have painted one only to find out that $20 a quart can of paint I used- didn't work!!! I can scrape it off on the edges with my fingernail. BTW- thanks for keeping it real and showing us what a "real mom's" house looks like and not a spotless show home!!!
ReplyDeletewow! you've done so much since I was last at your house... that's been a while though. looks fabulous.
ReplyDeletelove your home! how did you hang the pom pom things in your daughters room? i love all the color!
ReplyDeleteThis makes me so happy. I have been DYING to see the rest of your cute, super-hip home. I love it. All of it. I love how it looks real. Like you really live in it. It looks happy.
